1. C) Number of books sold by store A on Tuesday = 112
Number of books sold by store C on Tuesday = 75
Number of books sold by store A on Friday = 125
% more = (112 + 75 – 125)/125 × 100 = 62/125 × 100 = 49.6%
2. A) The number of books sold by store C and D together on Thursday = 92 + 98 = 190
The number of books sold by store B on Monday and Friday together = 84 + 76 = 160
Ratio = 190 : 160 = 19 : 16
3. D) Total number of books sold by store D on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday = 115 + 81 + 98 = 294
Average = 294/3 = 98
4. E) Number of books sold by store E on Thursday and Friday = 108 + 92 = 200
