10. 2 Indian films won awards at 67th annual Berlin International Film Festival.

16. Indian Hockey Player Sandeep Singh honoured with Honorary Doctorate Degree by Desh Bhagat University, Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab). He is second Indian hockey player to receive this award after Dileep Tirkey.
