1. Burlesque
Meaning: take-off, imitation, send-up
Definition: an absurd or comically exaggerated imitation of something, especially in a literary or dramatic work; a parody.
Usage: A novel which is a burlesque of the literary life.
2. Lament
Meaning: wail, moan, crying
Definition: a passionate expression of grief or sorrow.
Usage: His mother's night-long laments for his father
3. Guile
Meaning: cunning, craft, art
Definition: sly or cunning intelligence.
Usage: He used all his guile and guts to free himself from the muddle he was in.
4. Keen
Meaning: eager, anxious, impatient
Definition: having or showing eagerness or enthusiasm.
Usage: His publishers were keen to capitalize on his success.
5. Divine
Meaning: godly, godlike, angelic
Definition: of or like God or a god
Usage: Jesus is one person in both divine and human natures.
6. Acclaim

Definition: conformity to facts; accuracy.
