Solutions:
1. B) 6R, 5G, 8B
Non green Balls = 6 + 8 = 14
Therefore required probability = 6C4/19C4 + [5C2 × 14C2]/19C4 = 925/3876
2. D) SI = 35500 x 15/100 x 2 = Rs.10650
A = 35500 + 10650 = Rs.46150
CI for 3 years = 46150[(1 + 20/100)3 – 1] = Rs.33597.20
Therefore total interest = 10650 + 33597.20 = Rs.44247.20
3. A) 12 x 36 men can do a work in one day = 18 x 60 women can do a work in one day
=> 12 x 36 M = 18 x 60 W => 2M = 5W => 8M = 20W

5. E) Let the length of train = x
=> x/20 = (x + 3x)/20 – 24 => x = 160m
6. E) On solving the given equations we get x = -1/2, -5/3 and y = -2 or -4/9

14. C) Number of employees in city D = (5/100)*(10/100)*5600 = 28
